Former player Of Emmanuel City football academy who now plays for division one outfit Tano Bofoakwa has earned a call-up to the Black Stars ahead of their game against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
The young forward becomes one of three players to receive a senior Ghana call-up whilst playing for a division one side.
Takyi, , joined the Hunters last year having previously played for Emmanuel city, B.A. United, Berekum Chelsea and RAK Club, and has so far netted six goals in just six games for the division one side.
The team will later be joined by other foreign based players for the two qualifiers. These players are to report to the M Plaza Hotel in Accra at 10am on Monday, February 15, 2021.
